Neste Opens the Valley’s First Public Renewable Diesel Filling Station in Keyes

Neste, headquartered in Finland, announced the opening of the first renewable diesel filling station in the San Joaquin Valley on April 16, 2019 in the city of Keyes. For the first time, renewable diesel became available to valley residents through the CFN/Cardlock network.

Natural Gas Workshop & Planning MeetiNG

The San Joaquin Valley Natural Gas Partnership (SJVNGP) will be holding a natural gas meetiNG on Friday, April 27th. The event will be hosted by the City of Hanford at City Hall from 9:30am to 2:00pm.
 
From 9:30am to 11:00am, we will have presentations from industry partners. From 12:00pm to 2:00pm, we will have a meeting to to establish a Market Development Plan for the SJVNGP. The event is free to attend. Coffee, pastries and lunch will be provided.

Motivo and EnVision join CALSTART at the World Ag Expo

CALSTART brought together two of it’s members to showcase their innovations at the World Ag Expo in Tulare, California. The show was very well attended, with little breaks between visitors the entire time.
Motivo’s “Harvest” electric tractor and the portable, solar-powered EV charger from EnVision (EV ARC™) were big hits at the show.

First Electric School bus in Monterey County – Santa Rita Union School District

The Santa Rita Union School District took delivery of the first all-electric school bus in Monterey County. The bus was paid for by grants from the Monterey Bay Air Resources Board and the HVIP Program which is administered by CALSTART. The ribbon cutting ceremony was held on January 30th. Salinas mayor Joe Gunter and councilmember Steve McShane came out for the celebration which included an electric school bus tour.
